42 countries expected at “Innovation Week in Africa”

The International Innovation Week in Africa (IWA 2019) will be held from 11 to 15 December in Rabat, under the theme “In the dark, it is invention and innovation that will illuminate our universe”, announced OFEED Morocco, initiator of the event.

Organized with the support of the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA) and the Lisbon Council for Peace, Tolerance, Innovation and Science (Gi40), this edition will see the participation of 42 countries, including eight countries African countries, namely Morocco, Egypt, Senegal, Mali, Sudan, Zambia, Angola and Liberia.

As part of the framework of government plans under the High Vision of HM King Mohammed VI to make Morocco a major player in the field of science and creativity, this show aims to expose and promote innovations from around the world and rewarding the best of them, as well as putting innovators in touch with public and private operators.
