A Moroccan nominated for the best teacher in the world 2019

The Moroccan, Charif Hamidi, was nominated by the 50 best teachers for the prize of the best teacher in the world for the year 2019, awarded by the Varkey Foundation.

The prize, the largest of its kind valued at $ 1 million, was launched by the Foundation in recognition of the role that teachers play in society.

Hamidi participates in this award with its “Education 4.0” project, which uses the technology of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, to provide young people with a good education and economic opportunities to prepare them for an active life.

The project consists of a mobile school through remote rural areas to bridge the gap between students in digital technology, through a platform to teach children the skills of the labor market associated with the fourth grade of industrial Revolution.

The 50 nominees were selected from more than 10,000 applicants from 179 countries around the world.
