A new British ambassador to Morocco

The United Kingdom has just appointed a new ambassador to Morocco. This is Simon Martin who was appointed Ambassador of His Majesty to the Kingdom of Morocco in succession to Thomas Reilly. The diplomat will officially take office next September, says London.

The new ambassador has already held the same post in Bahrain and was director of protocol and vice-marshal of the diplomatic corps. He has also worked in Rangoon (Burma), Budapest and Prague.
