AAAID sign a partnership with ORBIS AgroIndustry

ORBIS AgroIndustry, represented by its Managing Director Mohamed El Hajjouji and the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development (AAAID), represented by its Chairman of the Board Mohammed Bin Obaid Al Mazrooei signed a memorandum of understanding for the deployment joint development agribusiness development projects with high added value in Morocco.

This partnership is part of a medium and long-term vision targeting the production of red berries and extra-virgin olive oil initially, and other high value-added projects later.

This cooperation encompasses the entire value chain, from planting to marketing. The projects covered by this partnership revolve around four components. The production of red fruits (goji berries, raspberries, blueberries and blackberries), avocados and citrus fruits in the Gharb region. The establishment of a unit for storage, sorting, packaging and valorization of agricultural products. The production of olives in hyperintensive systems in different regions of Morocco and the establishment of a unit for crushing olives to produce extra virgin olive oil.
