Moroccan player Abderrazak Hamdallah, striker for Saudi Arabia’s Al-Nassr club, won the 2020 AFC Champions League top scorer award, after finishing the tournament with 7 goals.
With this dedication, Hamdallah became the first Moroccan player to win the AFC Champions League top scorer award.
The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) said on its website that the Moroccan player won the award after scoring 7 goals tied with South Korean team forward Ulsan Hyundai, Brazilian Junior Negrao, and with a assist each, adding that Hamdallah stood out by playing under minutes during the tournament.
Hamdallah helped Al-Nassr qualify for the semi-finals of the AFC Champions League football.
The Moroccan striker who has scored in every game he played for Al-Nassr, except for one meeting, has been crowned top scorer in the Saudi League for two consecutive years. He also won the Qatari League top scorer award while playing for El-Jaish Sport Club in the 2015-2016 season.
