The company Royal Air Maroc (RAM) won two awards at the 51st annual meeting of the African Airlines Association (AFRAA) held in Mauritius. It has been named best company in the “Global Operations” and “Best improved financial results” categories.
“This recognition encourages us to redouble our efforts to achieve a single African air transport market that will remove the barriers of protectionism to lead to a growth of air traffic on our continent, carried mainly by African companies. […],” said the CEO Hamid Addou. Founded in 1968 in Accra, AFRAA aims to establish and facilitate cooperation between African airlines.
