Africagua 2019: Morocco guest of honor in the Canary Islands

Morocco was the guest of honor at the 6th International Forum on Water and Renewable Energies (Africagua 2019), which opened its work in Fuerteventura, in the presence of senior Canarian authorities and officials and experts from 14 countries.

This event, which focuses on the promotion of water and renewable energy initiatives in West Africa, has chosen Morocco as the guest of honor for this edition, given the opportunities it offers for businesses of interesting to the development of renewable energies and the progress made by the Kingdom in this matter.

On this occasion, the President of the Canary Islands Government, Angel Victor Torres, welcomed the level of cooperation uniting the Canary Islands and Morocco, underlining that the Kingdom has taken important steps in the management of the Canary Islands in water and the development of renewable energies.
