Morocco climbed to 3rd place in the overall ranking of the 12th African Games (Rabat-2019), after the competitions of the 6th day played on Saturday.
With 13 gold, 11 silver and 16 bronze, Morocco brings to 40 his medal count in this continental competition which is held in the Kingdom until August 31st.
During this sixth day, Morocco won a gold medal, a silver medal and a bronze medal in show jumping (equestrian sports), a gold medal and a silver medal in the triathlon and finally one gold and one bronze in snooker.
Egypt dominates the standings for the sixth day in a row with a total of 77 medals including 25 in gold, 33 silver and 19 bronze, ahead of South Africa’s 50 medal (23 gold, 15 silver and 12 bronze).
Algeria regressed to a place to finish 4th with 43 medals (12 gold, 11 silver and 20 bronze).
