The airline Air Europa will launch in the spring new routes connecting Palma de Mallorca to Casablanca, Marrakech and Nador, and Malaga to Casablanca and Marrakech.
From June 27 to September 5, 2020, the private Spanish airline will offer a flight every Saturday between Airlineroute from its base in Palma de Mallorca-Son Sant Joan and Casablanca-Mohammed V airport operated by Boeing 737-800 for 12 passengers sen class Business and 168 in Economy.
Departures are scheduled at 0:45 (arrival at 1:55), with return from Morocco at 2:45 (arrival at 5:40). Air Europa will be unrivaled on this route, as well as on the one linking Tuesday and Sunday from June 27 to September 6 Palma de Mallorca in Marrakech-Menara: the 737-800 will take off at 0:45 (arrival at 2:05), and will return from Morocco at 2:45 (arrival at 6:05). Finally Air Europa will connect the Balearic Islands to Nador on Friday from June 26th to September 4th, with takeoff of the 737-800 at 1:00 am (arrival at 1:30 am) and return from Morocco at 2:45 am (arrival at 5:10 am) and face the low Air Arabia Morocco cost on this line.
The SkyTeam alliance company already offers 18 routes in Palma de Mallorca, including one international, to Paris-Orly.
At the airport of Malaga-Costa del Sol, Air Europa will propose from June 23 to September 6 two weekly rotations to Casablanca: a 737-800 will leave on Tuesday and Sunday at 1:15 (arrival at 1:25), and leave Mohammed airport V at 2:40 (arrival at 4:50). It will face Royal Air Morocco on this route. Finally from June 26 to September 7, Malaga will be connected to Marrakech on Monday and Friday, with departure in 737-800 at 1:15 (arrival at 1:40) and return from Morocco at 2:30 (arrival at 4:50); it will this time compete with the low cost Vueling. These two novelties will bring to 17 the number of connections proposed to Malaga by the Spanish company, including one to Paris-CDG and the one to Tel Aviv which will be launched in April.
Air Europa already serves Morocco Casablanca and Marrakech from its capital Madrid.
