Airports: Morocco exceeds 21 million passengers

The number of passengers at airports in Morocco has recorded an annual increase of 11.76% in the first ten months of 2019, said the National Office of Airports (ONDA).

A total of 21,021,952 passengers thus passed through the various national airport structures from January to October, compared to 18,810,195 a year earlier, according to monthly statistics published by the Office.

With 8,678,517 passengers welcomed in ten months, against 8,228,439 during the same period in 2018, the Mohammed V airport, main national hub, saw its market share reach 41.28%.

Airports Marrakech Menara (5,299,229 passengers) and Agadir Al Massira (1,679,805 passengers) occupy, after the first ten months, the second and third places with respectively 25,21% and 7,99% shares.
