Airspace in Morocco set to open on September 10

Moroccan airspace will remain closed until September 10. While awaiting confirmation by a NOTAM (notice to airmen), this decision should not concern special flights operated from and to Morocco.

This news again upsets the plans of many tourists who wanted to go to Morocco. The decision, which has not yet been officially confirmed, excludes special flights dedicated to Moroccans stranded abroad and residents foreigners in the Kingdom.

It is justified by the one month extension of the state of health emergency, in accordance with the decision of the government council on Thursday August 6.

Special flights will still be provided by the two Moroccan airlines, Royal Air Maroc, Air Arabia and Air France for flights to France and to Morocco.
