Al Boraq attracts 200,000 passengers in January

The Minister of Equipment, Transport, Logistics and Water, Abdelkader Amara said Tuesday in Rabat, that more than 200,000 passengers took the Al Boraq high-speed train in January 2019, against 168,000 passengers in December, an increase of 19%.

In response to the oral question on the Al Boraq high-speed train presented by the Constitutional, Democratic and Social Group in the House of Councilors, Amara explained that this development has had an impact on the filling rate, which has risen from 40% to the launch of the service to 70%.

He noted that this service will be expanded, with the receipt of new wagons to ensure journeys Kenitra-Rabat and Rabat-Casablanca, highlighting that Al Boraq, which is a pride for Morocco, is made available to all social categories.
