An Italian criminal succeeds in hiding 22 years between Moroccans

An Italian criminal hiding for years in Morocco, creating a new life and opening an investment activity far from doubts, although he is wanted by Rome.

The man, aged 74, had lived in the Kingdom, specifically in the city of Temara, adjacent to the capital Rabat, 22 years, despite the Italian authorities in a case related to the trafficking of solid drugs.

The Italian citizen is the boss of a real estate agency, and he lived a new life that hid his reality until the coordination between Rabat and Rome succeeded in identifying him. He was arrested and then deported to his country. He will face deprivation of liberty for 11 years if convicted.
