Morocco won (1-0) against Namibia this Sunday on the pitch of Al Salam stadium, in a match for the first day of the group stage (group D) of AfCON 2019.
The only goal of the match was scored by Itamunua Keimuine with a goal (89 min) after a free kick by Hakim Ziyech.
Hervé Renard’s men dominated the match and were able to finish the match with a heavier score, thanks to Dirar and Ziyech’s attempts.
According to some observers, the referee of the game would not have whistled a penalty in favor of the Lions in the first period, after a Namibian player tapped Nordin Amrabat into the penalty area.
Let’s remember that the Lions hope to make a good start to carry out their mission. Moroccan fans have been dreaming of the African crown for 43 years, after the one and only title in the history of the national team won in 1976.
