Atlas Voyages received the Leading Moroccan Destination Management Company Trophy 2019, Saturday, June 1st, 2019 in Mauritius, at the 26th edition of the World Travel Awards.
Founded in 1991, the World Travel Awards (WTA) recognize and reward excellence in travel, tourism and hospitality. The consecration of the first receptive agency in Morocco is the crowning of 55 years spent in the service of Moroccan tourism, and its permanent commitment to promote the Kingdom to the international, says one with the agency.
“This Trophy is an excellent recognition of the efforts made daily by all the human resources experts in hospitality and logistics management,” said Sidi Mohamed Chérif Alami, International Sales Director at Atlas Voyages.
Leader of the trip to Morocco, Atlas Voyages also has a MICE pole, a Corporate Travel pole and a travel agency pole. After a successful digitization, Atlas Voyages continues to innovate with 2 new technological solutions, says the management:
– At the international level, its API, a software interface that allows 2 programs to communicate directly, facilitates direct integration with foreign operators, thus achieving full digitization of the booking process for tours, hotels, excursions and activities throughout Morocco. The latest transaction is the direct integration into the Accor hotel operator’s systems, giving Atlas Voyages direct access to hotels in the chain at preferential rates.
– At the national level, its Self Booking Tool, a Corporate Travel booking platform, enables Atlas Voyages B2B customers to book flights and hotels directly from their computers, thus replacing the exchange of emails between the supplier and the customer. This solution offers several advantages: time saving, gain in efficiency, direct access to travel statistics, digitization of purchasing processes and secure archiving.
Other Consumer projects are in the running: after its new website where it is possible to book Flights and Hotels, a mobile application is coming soon.
