Attijariwafa bank elected Safest Bank in Africa

Global Finance, a prestigious American magazine, has just announced its ranking of the safest banks locally and on a continental scale, and it is Attijariwafa bank which has risen to number one by winning both awards: ”Safest Bank in Morocco” for the 2nd year in a row and ”Safest Bank in Africa”.

The magazine selected the banks based on an assessment of long-term foreign currency ratings – from Moody’s, Standard & Poor’s and Fitch – of the 500 largest banks in the world. This distinction comes on top of the “Best Bank in Morocco” awards for the 8th consecutive year, and “Best Investment Bank in Morocco”, awarded by the same magazine in 2020.
