In a context of health crisis, new consumption trends are confirmed. The use of digital and specifically electronic means of payment is accelerating.
Mobile payment appears to be an alternative to the use of cash payment, guaranteeing instantaneity and security.
In order to allow the hundreds of thousands of wallets active in Morocco to be used in more and more points of sale, Attijariwafa bank launches an acquisition solution allowing its business customers to accept mobile payments in their distribution networks B to B and B to C.
“Our mobile payment solution expands our catalog of cashless collection solutions by offering our corporate customers an integrated mobile payment management solution,” said Youssef Rouissi, Deputy General Director in charge of Corporate and Investment Banking.
This acquisition solution is based on a secure and proven technology that allows the merchant to generate a QR code on his cash register, payment terminal, pad or smartphone so that the payer scans it to instantly make the payment.
“Our role as a banking establishment is to foster the emergence of mobile payments by helping to build an ecosystem of payers and acceptance networks allowing a democratization of the use of mobile payments,” adds Youssef Rouissi.
Attijariwafa bank also offers its private customers a mobile payment solution, Attijari Pay, allowing them to pay for their purchases via their smartphone across all Kingdom acceptance networks.
