Automotive industry: French Sealynx invests € 22 million in Tangier

The French company Sealynx automotive Morocco, a subsidiary of Sealynx International (GMD Group), inaugurated in Tangiers a new production unit specializing in the manufacture of automotive gaskets, for a total investment of 22 million euros.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Minister of Industry, Trade, Green and Digital Economy, Moulay Hafid Elalamy, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Tangier-Mediterranean Special Agency, Fouad Brini and GMD Group President and CEO Alain Martineau.

Spread over an area of 12,600 m², this new plant, which will employ some 200 people, aims to meet the growing need of locally established car manufacturers, including Renault and PSA, which are two major client of the GMD group.
