“BigBooster”: Morocco in the top 100 best start-ups

The Moroccan start-up PilliotY, represented by its co-founder Dr. Hafid Griguer, has just joined the prestigious international accelerator of startups, the “BigBooster”.

The “BigBooster” is a program that brings together the top 100 global start-ups in the fields of Biotechnology & Health, Industry 4.0 and Digital Products & Services. The objective of this accelerator is to support innovative projects with strong international growth potential by facilitating access to markets and fundraising.

Season 4 of the “BigBooster” program will be held in Lyon from 14 to 17 October 2019, the Moroccan start-up PilliotY will compete in the final to become one of the top 20 best start-ups in the world. The winners will be immersed in the financial ecosystems in Boston and London in January 2020.

Specialized in the development of technological solutions for Industry 4.0, PilliotY was awarded this qualification thanks to its “Dust-Out” project. It is a digital solution for predictive maintenance for solar installations, which aims to improve energy productivity and optimize the operating costs of solar fields.

PilliotY has already won several awards and honors, including the gold medal at BIXPO 2018 in South Korea, the IFIA trophy for the best invention in Geneva in 2018, OCP’s mining challenge, PSA’s Creative Challenge, the We-Power-Innovation of ONEE and the price of the innovative start-up HubAfrica 2019.
