Bosch has drawn up a new strategic plan to strengthen its presence in Morocco. The brand has entered into an agreement to acquire land in Casablanca.
Covering an area of approximately 2700 m², this land will house an office building for the consolidation of the operations of Robert Bosch Morocco. The foundation stone will be laid in 2021 and 2023 will be the year of the occupation.
“The strategic plan aims to establish a solid foundation in Morocco, supported by our business philosophy of working with local stakeholders, to advance government programs such as energy, infrastructure, agriculture and transport with the vision of improving socioeconomic development”, said Andreas Schmidt, Managing Director of Bosch in Morocco, adding that the brand intends to improve the quality of life by providing market solutions in the different sectors of activity, training, support and economic development.
“To support the development of infrastructure, we will continue to offer end-to-end solutions through our construction technologies, our power tools and our thermotechnical solutions,” suggested Mr. Schmidt. The company also intends to support the needs of consumers with a wide range of power tools and household appliances.
Present in Morocco since 2008, Bosch opened a representative office in 2012. The company operates in several business sectors: mobility solutions, industrial technology, consumer goods and energy and building technology.
