Brookstone case: Michael Toporek dismissed by justice in Morocco

“Omar Belmamoun is actually returning to the position of Chief Executive Officer of Brookstone Partners Morocco,” announces the company after the Commercial Court of Casablanca decided to cancel the effects of the minutes of the Ordinary General Meeting of 20 May 2019 signed by the American Michael Toporek and his legal adviser Laila Slassi.

Brookstone Partners Morocco announces on July 26 that the President of the Commercial Court of Casablanca has canceled the effects of the minutes of the General Meeting of May 20, 2019 signed by the American Michael Toporek and his legal adviser Laila Slassi of Africa Advisors firm (Mayer Brown) on the dismissal of Omar Belmamoun as CEO of the company.

“Omar Belmamoun is actually returning to his position as Chief Executive Officer of Brookstone Partners Morocco,” announces the company.

Michael Toporek was dismissed concerning a second legal action. Indeed, the request of Michael Toporek concerning the appointment of a temporary administrator was refused by the president of the commercial court of Casablanca.

  2. Hard to believe this junk is still up. I am sure Omar Belmamoun is paying to keep this wrong stuff out there. Humorous since I heard from a friend in rabat that he is under some criminal thing. Not sure how true that is. He does belong in jail. He owes his employees huge back pay.
