CAM: NBI increases in first half

The Crédit Agricole Group of Morocco (CAM) ends the first half on a positive note. Its Net Banking Income (NBI) reached 1.88 billion dirhams at the end of June 2019, marking a growth of 5% year-on-year.

This performance comes from the increase in commission margins, the interest margin and the result of market transactions, explains the bank.

In total, loans distributed are valued at MAD 84 billion against MAD 82 billion at 31 December 2018, an increase of 2.4%. For its part, savings collected amounted to MAD 84 billion at the end of June, an increase of 2.3% compared to December 31, 2018 when the group’s outstanding resources amounted to MAD 82 billion.
