CAN Beach Soccer 2018: Morocco Eliminates Ivory Coast

Third day of competition at the Beach Soccer 2018 CAN in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. For its second outing, Ivory Coast lost 4-5 against Morocco and can already say goodbye to its dreams of reaching the semi-finals.

The first period of this match was tense and the two teams separate by scoring a goal on both sides.

The second part sees the Atlas Lions go off with a score of 4-1. The Elephants finally wake up in the last period but can not have the point of the draw.

Second consecutive defeat for Ivory Coast, which will face Egypt to close its group stage. First victory for Morocco which counts 3 before facing Madagascar (Group A).

Two other meetings are on the menu of this day with Egypt – Madagscar and Nigeria – Tanzania (Group B).

The CAN Beach Soccer 2018 is qualifying for the World Cup discipline in 2019. The two finalists will represent Africa in Paraguay next year.
