Canada wants to open an office for migration in Morocco

Ici-Radio-Canada has just announced, that the Canadian federal government intends to open a single window in Morocco, the first in Africa and in the world, for a better treatment of the files of French-speaking candidates for immigration (Moroccans and immigrants from other nationalities) in provinces where French is a minority.

According to the first information unveiled, it will be a pilot project to start next spring. The announced objective is to provide future migrants with the necessary information to facilitate their settlement outside Quebec. This was explained by the Coordinator of the French Immigration Network (RIF), Salwa Meddri, quoted by Ici-Radio-Canada.
