Casablanca Arbitration Days examine investments in Africa

The 5th edition of the Casablanca Arbitration Days will be held from December 5 to 6 under the theme “Investing and Doing Business in Africa: Is Arbitration Contributing to the Revolution?”.

The event, organized by the Casablanca International Mediation and Arbitration Center (CIMAC), in partnership with Casablanca Finance City and Accuracy, will allow to exchange with recognized experts on investment climate arbitrage in Africa in constant evolution. Various topics will be discussed, including investment protection mechanisms in Africa, the importance of regional economic communities, Chinese investments in Africa, the phenomenon of proliferation of arbitration institutions in the continent, as well as an overview of the legislative and jurisprudential evolution of the Moroccan law on arbitration.

Experts from the African Development Bank (AfDB), the International Center for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) and CIMAC will participate in the event.
