Casablanca: Trump’s son-in-law meditated at Jewish cemetery

The High Councilor of the President of the United States is on an official visit to Morocco. And Jared Kushner, husband of the eldest daughter of Donald Trump, Ivanka, took the opportunity to go to the Jewish cemetery of the economic capital.

This visit, which took place Wednesday, was intended to gather on the tomb of the former chief rabbi of the city of Essaouira, Rav Chaim Pinto, died in 1845 in the City of Tradewinds.

Jared Kushner, also in charge of the Israeli-Palestinian peace plan, was accompanied by Jason Dov Greenblatt, Donald Trump’s lawyer and legal officer.

Remember that King Mohammed VI, accompanied by Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, had offered an “iftar” in honor of the High Councilor of the American President last Tuesday at the royal residence of Salé.

Earlier, the king had a long talk with Jared Kushner, the head of the Israeli-Palestinian peace plan. The conversation also focused on the age-old and strong relations of the Kingdom and the United States and on the common strategy of strengthening their partnership on several levels. As well as the changes and their consequences in the MENA region (Middle East and North Africa) were discussed during this meeting of King Mohammed VI with Jared Kushner.

Also invited to this “iftar”, Jason Dov Greenblatt, Trump’s special representative for international negotiations and his adviser on Israel. On the Moroccan side was also present Fouad Ali El Himma, adviser to the sovereign, as well as the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Nasser Bourita.
