Chelsea no longer want to sell Hakim Ziyech

Chelsea have decided to keep Hakim Ziyech for one more season, whose transfer had animated the summer transfer window for a few weeks. Big clubs like AC Milan have announced their intention to sign the Morocco international.

AC Milan had announced that recruiting Hakim Ziyech during this summer transfer window was their priority. The Atlas Lion had nothing against new experiences at another club, especially with difficulties encountered after the team was taken over by German technician Thomas Tuchel. Even the manager Marco Van Basten, who is a fan of Hakim Ziyech, urged the Moroccan player to find a club that can showcase him and respect his skills.

Eventually the Blues said they weren’t willing to put the player on the transfer market anymore, even though Thomas Tuchel had said he was not counting on him in terms of ability.

During the past season, Hakim Ziyech played 9 matches in all competitions, including 23 in the Premier League. He scored 6 goals and delivered 4 assists. Arrived last summer from Ajax Amsterdam for 40 million euros, the Moroccan player is in contract with Chelsea until 2025.
