Citic Dicastal inaugurates its 2nd factory

The Chinese group Citic Dicastal inaugurated, Monday in Kenitra, the second phase of the project Dicastal Morocco Africa, for a global investment of about MAD 4 billion (350 million euros). The world leader specialized in aluminum casting and in the production of aluminum car parts, is launching a 30,000 m² factory that will create 1,200 jobs. The new site will be equipped with advanced technology, particularly in the paint section, to offer Premium products, as well as a wider range of rims.

According to Moulay Hafid Elalamy, Minister of Industry, Trade, Green and Digital Economy, the first plant inaugurated last June is currently running at full capacity.

Dicastal has 30 production units worldwide, with a capacity of 60 million wheels and 100,000 tons of engine and chassis components per year. The group supplies the largest car manufacturers, such as Volkswagen, BMW, Renault-Nissan, Fiat, Chrysler Automotive, Peugeot, GM, Toyota …
