Morocco continues to attract low-cost airlines. After Ryanair, which announced the creation of a base at Agadir airport a few days ago, it is the turn of Corendon Airlines to inform about the opening of air links to Morocco.
In total, Corendon Airlines intends to operate seven new lines to several cities in Morocco.
The Turkish low-cost airline will serve the kingdom from Brussels (Belgium), Cologne (Germany), Düsseldorf (Germany) and Rotterdam (Netherlands).
On the program, a seasonal flight scheduled every Friday from April 1, 2022 between Brussels-Zaventem airport and Nador airport in northern Morocco. For this flight, Corendon Airlins will mobilize a Boeing 737-800 capable of carrying 189 passengers.
The frequency will be increased to three weekly flights (Friday, Monday and Wednesday) from mid-May 2022. In this niche, the low-cost company will face competition from Air Arabia Maroc, Brussels Airlines, Royal Air Maroc and TUI Fly Belgium.
In its program, the Turkish airline will make a weekly flight between Rotterdam and El Hoceïma from April 3 every Sunday and then every Thursday from May.
El Hoceïma will also be served from Brussels from April 3 with a frequency of one flight per week and which will increase to two flights from May.
Corendon Airlines will serve Fez from Düsseldorf on Mondays and Fridays from May 2 and from Cologne Bonn every Monday from June 6.
