The Ministry of Health announced on Thursday that a woman infected with the coronavirus has recovered, bringing to two the cases of recovery in Morocco since the declaration of the first case of contamination with Covid-19.
This is a woman living in Casablanca who had been infected by her husband, said the director of epidemiology and fight against diseases at the Ministry of Health, Mohamed El Youbi, adding that medical tests and clinics confirmed the patient’s recovery.
This recovery case is the second after the announcement of the recovery of the Moroccan from Italy, who was the first confirmed case of the new Coronavirus in the Kingdom, and who left the hospital on March 13.
Recall that three new confirmed cases of contamination with the new coronavirus (Covid-19) were recorded this Thursday in Morocco, bringing to 61 the total number of confirmed cases in the Kingdom so far, announces the Ministry of Health on its site “www.covidmaroc.ma“.
The three new cases have been confirmed at the Institut Pasteur-Maroc laboratory and at the National Center for Influenza and Respiratory Viruses under the Rabat Institute for Hygiene. They are currently on medical assistance at the hospital where they are being treated in accordance with the sanitary measures in force, reassures the ministry.
