Coronavirus: Assessment climbs to 11338 cases in Morocco

Morocco now registers 11338 confirmed cases of contamination with the new coronavirus, including 217 deaths and 8500 cures.

431 new cases of infection with the new coronavirus (Covid-19) have been confirmed in Morocco in the past 24 hours, bringing to 11338 the total number of cases of contamination in the Kingdom, said Hind Ezzine, head of the epidemic diseases department at the Directorate of epidemiology under the Ministry of Health.

1 new death has been recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths from the virus in the country to 217, the official said.

In addition, 32 new healings were recorded, bringing the total number of people declared cured to 8500, she said.

Note that 579063 cases were excluded following negative laboratory tests.
