Coronavirus: Assessment climbs to 7601 cases in Morocco

Morocco now registers 7601 confirmed cases of contamination with the new coronavirus, including 202 deaths and 4978 cures.

24 new cases of infection with the new coronavirus (Covid-19) have been confirmed in Morocco in the last 24 hours, bringing to 7601 the total number of cases of contamination in the Kingdom until Wednesday at 6:00 pm, announced Mouad El Mourabit, coordinator of the National Center of Emergency Operations to the Ministry of Health.

No deaths have been recorded in the past 24 hours. The total number of deaths from the virus in the country remains unchanged and stands at 202, said the official.

In addition, 97 new healings were recorded, bringing the number of people declared cured to 4978, he said.

Note that 163112 cases were excluded following negative laboratory tests.
