Coronavirus: Assessment climbs to 7807 cases in Morocco

27 new cases of contamination with the coronavirus were recorded, bringing the total to 7,807 cases, this Sunday May 31 at 6 p.m.

This limited number of new cases was recorded despite the increase in the number of tests performed. They were detected in Casablanca-Settat with 16 cases in Casablanca City and Sidi Bennour, in Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima (6 cases in Tangier), 1 case respectively in Fez, Rabat, Beni Mellal, Agadir Ida Outanan and Laâyoune.

19 new cases were detected through the follow-up of contact cases. 7313 contact cases are still under medical supervision.

9114 suspected cases were dismissed after analyzes, with a total of 201332 suspected cases dismissed.

1 new death was recorded in Marrakech, bringing the cumulative to 205 deaths.

58 new healings were announced, for a total of 5459 healings and an increase in remission rate to 69.9%.

Active cases therefore registered a further drop to 2143 active cases.
