Coronavirus: Assessment climbs to 7922 cases in Morocco

Morocco now records 7922 confirmed cases of contamination with the new coronavirus, including 206 deaths and 6866 cures.

56 new cases of infection with the new coronavirus (Covid-19) have been confirmed in Morocco in the past 24 hours, bringing to 7922 the total number of cases of contamination in the Kingdom until Wednesday at 6:00 pm, announced Mouad El Mourabit, coordinator of the National Center of Emergency Operations in Ministry of Health.

No deaths have been recorded in the past 24 hours. The total number of deaths from the virus in the country remains unchanged and stands at 206, said the official.

In addition, 456 new healings have been recorded, bringing the number of people declared cured to 6866, he said.

Note that 239902 cases were excluded following negative laboratory tests.
