Coronavirus: Assessment climbs to 8610 cases in Morocco

Morocco now records 8610 confirmed cases of contamination with the new coronavirus, including 212 deaths and 7618 cures.

73 new cases of infection with the new coronavirus (Covid-19) have been confirmed in Morocco in the last 24 hours, bringing to 8610 the total number of cases of contamination in the Kingdom until Friday at 6:00 pm, announced Mouad El Mourabit, coordinator of the National Center of Emergency Operations in Ministry of Health.

1 new death has been recorded in the past 24 hours in Tangier, bringing the total number of deaths from the virus in the country to 212, the official said.

In addition, 35 new healings were recorded, bringing the number of people declared cured to 7618, he said.

Note that 380532 cases were excluded following negative laboratory tests.
