Coronavirus: Assessment climbs to 9839 cases in Morocco

Morocco now records 9839 confirmed cases of contamination with the new coronavirus, including 213 deaths and 8223 cures.

226 new cases of infection with the new coronavirus (Covid-19) have been confirmed in Morocco in the past 24 hours, bringing to 9839 the total number of cases of contamination in the Kingdom, announced Mouad El Mourabit, coordinator of the National Operations Center public health emergency.

No deaths have been recorded in the past 24 hours. The total number of deaths from the virus in the country remains unchanged and stands at 213, said the official.

In addition, 106 new healings were recorded, bringing the number of people declared cured to 8223, he said.

Note that 512327 cases were excluded following negative laboratory tests.
