Coronavirus: Morocco to participate in vaccine testing

Morocco is ready to participate in trials to ensure access to a possible vaccine. “Morocco will participate in multicenter trials relating to Covid-19 to obtain the sufficient quantity of the vaccine in a timely manner,” Minister of Health Khalid Ait Taleb said in Rabat on Monday.

The Minister continued, “the Kingdom, like what is happening internationally, will participate with certain countries in multicenter trials relating to Covid-19 as long as it has the regulatory arsenal and legal enabling it to position itself to obtain the quantity of vaccine sufficient for the citizens in a timely manner and to guarantee self-sufficiency in relation to vaccine production”.
