Covid-19: 961 confirmed cases in Morocco, 4 new cures

Forty-two (42) new cases of infection with the new coronavirus (Covid-19) were confirmed in Morocco from the night of Saturday to Sunday at 8:00 am, bringing to 961 the total number of cases of contamination, announces the ministry of Health.

The number of healings rose to 70, so the number of deaths was 69, said the ministry.

In addition, the total number of cases excluded after negative results of laboratory analyzes was 3,532, the same source says.

The 960 positive test cases were identified in the regions of Casablanca Settat (266), Rabat Salé Kenitra (176), Marrakech Safi (168), Fès Meknès (131), Tanger Tetouan Al Hoceima (75), Oriental (54), Daraa tafilalet (41), Béni Mellal Khénifra (26), Souss Massa (19), Laâyoune Sakia El Hamra (4) and Guelmim Oued Noun (1).

The ministry invites citizens to respect the rules of hygiene and health security as well as the preventive measures taken by the Moroccan authorities by showing responsibility and patriotism.
