Covid-19: Assessment climbs to 1120 cases in Morocco, 80 deaths

Morocco has so far recorded 1120 confirmed cases of contamination with the new coronavirus, including 80 deaths and 81 cures.

Several new cases of infection with the new coronavirus (Covid-19) have been confirmed in Morocco in the past 24 hours, bringing to 1120 the total number of cases of contamination in the Kingdom until Monday at 18:00, announced Mohamed El Youbi, director of epidemiology and disease control at the Ministry of Health.

Eleven new deaths have also been recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the number of deaths from the virus to 80, the official said.

In addition, 10 new healings were recorded, bringing the number of people declared cured to 81, he said.

Note that 3984 cases were excluded following negative laboratory tests.
