Covid-19: Assessment climbs to 1,545 cases in Morocco

Morocco has so far recorded 1,545 confirmed cases of contamination with the new coronavirus, including 111 deaths and 146 cures.

97 new cases of infection with the new coronavirus (Covid-19) have been confirmed in Morocco in the last 24 hours, bringing to 1545 the total number of cases of contamination in the Kingdom until Saturday at 18:00, announced Mohamed El Youbi, director of epidemiology and disease control at the Ministry of Health.

Four new deaths have also been recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the number of deaths from the virus to 111, the official said.

In addition, 22 new healings were recorded, bringing the number of people declared healed to 146, he said.

Note that 6403 cases were excluded following negative laboratory tests.
