Covid-19: Assessment climbs to 2564 cases in Morocco

Morocco has so far recorded 2564 confirmed cases of contamination with the new coronavirus, including 135 deaths and 281 cures.

281 new cases of infection with the new coronavirus (Covid-19) have been confirmed in Morocco in the last 24 hours, bringing to 2564 the total number of cases of contamination in the Kingdom until Friday at 6:00 pm, announced Mohamed El Youbi, director of epidemiology and disease control at the Ministry of Health.

5 new deaths have also been recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the number of deaths from the virus to 135, the official said.

In addition, 32 new healings were recorded, bringing the number of people declared cured to 281, he said.
