Covid-19: Assessment climbs to 883 cases in Morocco

Morocco has so far recorded 883 confirmed cases of contamination with the new coronavirus, including 58 deaths and 65 cures.

122 new cases of infection with the new coronavirus (Covid-19) have been confirmed in Morocco in the last 24 hours, bringing to 883 the total number of cases of contamination in the Kingdom until Saturday at 6:00 pm, announced Mohamed El Youbi, director of epidemiology and disease control at the Ministry of Health.

Eleven new deaths have also been recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the number of deaths from the virus to 58, the official said.

In addition, 9 new healings were recorded, bringing the number of people declared cured to 65, he said.

Note that 3,304 cases were excluded following negative laboratory tests.
