Cristiano Ronaldo may be called to court to respond to charges of rape against Kathryn Mayorga. The lawyers of the latter finally found the address of CR7 in Italy. This is in any case what reports The Daily Mirror.
The 35-year-old model’s lawyers began looking for the Portuguese star’s address in October, when US police reopened the case. Ronaldo’s entourage tried to scramble the tracks and several court documents indicate that they refused to give the location of the player, adds the same source.
But now, his address in Turin was finally found after Mayorga’s lawyers searched the property registers registered by the Italian Central Authority, reports the British daily. They should apparently send the document of the convocation to “CR7” in the coming weeks, once it will have to be brought to justice.
Asked by The Mirror, a spokesman for Ronaldo declined to comment on the news last Friday, but insisted that rumors that he would be summoned would be “totally false”.
Note that Mayorga had claimed that Cristiano Ronaldo raped her ten years ago at a hotel in Las Vegas. While footballer categorically denies these accusations, Mayorga had complained at the time but without revealing the name of his rapist to the police and the case had been closed.
The case was reopened in 2018 after the American decided to lift the veil on the identity of the man she accused, shortly after the departure of the Real Madrid player to rally to Juventus.
