Driss Jettou returns elected officials to justice

The Court of Auditors presided by Driss Jettou announced in a statement, decided to refer to the administrative courts 12 elected officials who had failed in their duty.

Indeed, those who risk the invalidation of their election have still not filed the report of their expenses during their election campaigns in 2015 to the Court of Auditors.

The offenders who did not comply with the legal deadline for filing with the Court of Auditors are twelve municipal councilors. With the exception of one of them who has no political affiliation (Jerada commune), the majority belong to various right-wing and left-wing parties of the government majority and the opposition.

The MP (2 elected from Sidi Yahya El Gharb and Zagora), and the UC (2 elected from the communes of Al Aouamra and Boujdour) together make up a third of the concerned. The left with the PPS (Sale), the USFP (Marrakech – Medina), the FFD (municipality of Taza), the FGD (commune of Bradia) and the MDS (common Al Aouamra) form the bulk of the troop of fraudsters. Finally the opposition, the Istiqlal (common Aousserd) and the PAM (Municipality of Larache) are not free from any reproach.

It should be noted that the RNI and the PJD are the only parties of the majority government to escape this configuration for the least “orthodox”.
