EBRD and BMCI support importers and exporters

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has granted approximately 650 million dirhams (60 million euros) to support BMCI in supporting Moroccan exporters and importers.

The envelope makes it possible to support the commercial transactions of exporters and importers. It is part of the Trade Facilitation Program (TFP) launched in 1999 by the EBRD to promote international trade to and from the EBRD’s countries of operations, and between them.

This new support from the EBRD is also the third granted to BMCI after the support of women’s entrepreneurship through the Women In Business (WIB) program and that of green and eco-responsible projects, through the MorGEFF program (Morocco Green Economy Financing Facility).
