The Vice President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Alain Pilloux, is expected Tuesday in Morocco for a one-week visit during which he will notably inaugurate the new office of the bank in the city of Agadir.
“This visit reflects our continued support for the Moroccan economy, as well as our commitment to regional integration and private sector development,” said Alain Pilloux in a statement.
“We are very pleased to open this third office in this country, it will strengthen our presence in southern Morocco and contribute to the economic growth of the Kingdom,” he said.
The program of this visit also meetings with the head of the Moroccan government, as well as with other ministers.
He will also meet with the President of the Economic, Social and Environmental Council, as well as representatives of the corporate world.
To date, the EBRD has invested almost € 2 billion in Morocco in 58 projects
