Ericsson: New manager for Africa and the Middle East

Swedish telecom equipment maker Ericsson named Fadi Pharaon to take charge of managing its operations in Africa and the Middle East. Pharaon graduated from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and holds an MBA from Edinburgh Business School. Previously, he managed Ericsson’s network and managed services business for Europe and Latin America.

“The mobile sector is transforming countries and industries and, with 5G becoming a reality, we will see new business opportunities and innovations in our markets,” said Fadi Pharaon, who will officially take his news functions on 1 September.
