Euromoney holds its first conference in Morocco

Euromoney Conferences, one of the leading organizers of cross-border investment and capital markets conferences, is entering Morocco, and holds today its first Euromoney Morocco conference in Rabat on February 19, 2019.

The conference will feature the participation of a variety of national and international stakeholders, who will discuss the development of the Moroccan financial sector and the enormous potential for investment, growth and trade in the presence of 200 delegates.

The event will highlight the ambitions of the government and business leaders to position the country as a gateway to the African continent, while analyzing the ideal economic policies to achieve this goal.

Discussions will also focus on digital and financial product innovation, capital market development, sustainable employment and opportunities for SMEs.

Bank Al-Maghrib’s Governor, Abdellatif Jouahri, will deliver an opening speech, outlining Morocco’s economic strategy and explaining how the banking and regulatory environment will help ensure Morocco achieves its goals. Othman Benjelloun, president of the GPBM (the professional group of banks of Morocco), president and CEO of BMCE Bank of Africa, will also deliver an opening address.
