The Canadian Exco Technologies continues its investment momentum in Morocco.
After announcing in 2019 the construction of a second factory in Morocco adjoining its historic site in Tangier Free Zone, this industrialist who develops and manufactures dies, molds, components and consumable equipment for the die-casting industries, extrusion and automotive, has just created a new subsidiary in our country.
Called Castool 90 SARL, this entity located, for its part, in the Atlantic Free Zone (the free zone attached to the future Kenitra Atlantic port), will have to invest no less than 50 million dirhams in a unit for manufacturing molding tools for automotive industry which will be almost entirely dedicated to the European market. So far, the parent company based in Markham (province of Ontario) has injected some 10 million dirhams as seed capital.
The Exco Technologies group is thus strengthening its presence in Morocco, the only African country where it is present industrially, after having gradually increased the production capacity of its historic subsidiary Polydesign Systems.
