Extension of the state of health emergency in Morocco until July 10

The government has decided to extend the state of health emergency throughout the country until July 10, 2021.

At the time of going online, it is not known whether this move will be accompanied by further easing of restrictions.

Indeed, maintaining the state of health emergency does not mean tightening, maintaining or easing restrictions. The state of health emergency is a legal framework that allows the State to take all measures deemed necessary to fight the pandemic.

Economic and tourist operators expected a “good announcement” from the government, especially regarding the opening of borders.
